The ABBI-FAN 140 XXP fan is Abbi-Aerotech’s latest development for dairy cattle barns. This fan is the most economical in the market in terms of axial fans.
High air output and very low power consumption!
The ABBI-FAN 140-XXP fan is fitted with a permanent magnet motor and associated electronic controls. The result is a very high efficiency, even more so when the number of revolutions is down. In practice, savings of 30-70% compared to existing motors have been measured.
The motor is significantly quieter, has a longer service life and requires less maintenance. Each motor is controlled by an electronic voltage regulator, built into a separate box that is mounted below the motor. A simple 0-10V controller is enough to control the fan automatically.

Cross-ventilation
It is also important to provide plenty of fresh air. In modern barns with open sides and a gutter height of 4.20 metres, the fans can also be placed on the side wall, so that fresh outdoor air is blown directly over the animals.
This is known as cross-ventilation. If possible, it would be recommended to mount the fans in the shade. The distance between them will be approx. 7 metres.
