Saving energy and raw materials
Improving the environment starts with reducing raw material consumption. That is why DSD products last a lifetime and we use materials that can be given a second life after their intended use has come to an end. Consider, for example, the steel used for our cubicle partitions, or the rubber of our cubicle covering. Our first delivered products are still without problems after 25 years.
Energy saving
Lighting is one of the easiest ways to save energy. Dairy cows thrive on long days which provide a lot of power relief, especially in winter. Replacing TL with LED-lighting is therefore an easily achievable step to improve sustainability in dairy farming, which also pays for itself very quickly.
Fuel saving
The tractors and shovels on an average dairy farm have quite a few operating hours. Being able to reduce these can also save on CO₂ emissions and costs.
